Bio/Description

Marcus Stroud '16 is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of TXV Partners, a diversity-centric thematic investment firm focusing on Human Performance companies, partnering with innovative founders and executives across multiple asset classes. Marcus began his career on Wall Street, where he was a fixed income analyst at the largest and leading fixed-income electronic-trading platform company for institutional investors and dealers. Marcus left Wall Street to join Vida Capital in Austin, Texas, a multi-billion-dollar alternative asset manager. In his current role at TXV, Marcus oversees the firm's Evolution Strategy, overall fundraising efforts, and firm management. Outside of TXV, Marcus serves on the advisory boards for Capital Creek Partners, Trey Athletes, and the Faith & Work Initiative at Princeton. He is also a member of the Center for Conscious Leadership and current fellow at the Kauffman Fellows Program. Marcus has received numerous accolades including being featured in Forbes 30 under 30 in 2022 and named one of the most powerful business leaders as part of the Dallas 500 in 2020 and 2021. Marcus received his B.A. from Princeton University, where he also played on the varsity football team.
