Lord Griffiths serves as Vice-Chairman of Goldman Sachs International and is a member of Parliament. Lord Brian Griffiths was Professor of Banking and International Finance at the City University since 1976 and served as its Dean from 1982 to 1985. He served at No. 10 Downing Street as head of the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit from 1985 to 1990.

Lord Griffiths served in various organizations in executive senior positions, such as Goldman Sachs International, Bank of England from 1983 to 1985.  He has written and lectured extensively on economic issues and the relationship of the Christian faith to politics and business and has published various books on monetary policy and Christian ethics.
