Princeton's Bioengineering Initiative Inaugural Lecture: FWI hosts lunch with Prof. Jodi Halpern
In September, Jodi Halpern, M.D., Ph.D., and Professor of Bioethics and Medical Humanities in the Joint Medical Program and the School of Public Health at UC Berkeley, gave the inaugural Gilbert S. Omenn and Martha A. Darling Lecture in Ethics and Policy in Bioengineering for the new Princeton Bioengineering Initiative. Professor Cliff Brangwynne, recent recipient of the prestigious Breakthrough Prize and director of Princeton’s Bioengineering Initiative, invited David to host a small lunch with Professor Halpern with some of his students before the public lecture, in an opportunity to have a personal discussion with one of the thought leaders in the burgeoning field of bioengineering.
